SALT
About SALT
SALT, established as an art project in 2014 on Sandhornøy in Northern Norway, is inspired by the traditional fish-drying rack – a simple, flexible structure used for drying fish for thousands of years. SALT carries on the coastal culture's philosophy of practical thinking and flexibility, and has developed into an interdisciplinary arena for art, culture and debate. In 2021, SALT was awarded the City of Oslo Artist Award for adding a new dimension of cultural experiences to the city.
SALT has both private saunas and communal saunas. Food and drinks are also served on site.
