Olimstadkilen Sauna

On the water's edge of the small lake Olimstadkilen at Vegårshei in Agder lies Olimstadkilen sauna. Here there's majestic evening sun all year round and a view over the water and the forest.

The sauna is a new, wood-fired sauna with a changing room and a short way from the sauna bench to a refreshing dip. There's room for a maximum of 6 adults in summer and 8 in winter, when the sauna freezes into the ice.

The sauna is fired up in advance and holds at least 60°C when you arrive. In winter a hole is also made in the ice by the bathing ladder. In the sauna you'll find a selection of sauna scents that you can enjoy at no extra cost. Can be booked via Instagram, 150 kr per hour.
